Golf Course Comments |
| Farmstead Golf
Links--located a short drive from Myrtle Beach just over the
state line in North Carolina--is a championship, 18-hole links
style golf course designed by the team of Willard Byrd and Dave Johnson.
The golf course opened for play in 2001 and boasts the areas only
par 6 hole, the mammoth 767-yard #18. The naturally rolling
golf course plays through native grasses and several lakes, which
come into play on nine holes. The average size greens are generally
flat and fast, with little undulation. Farmstead Links plays
from 4,998 to 7,242-yards, and there are five sets of tees to
challenge all skill levels. |
