Golf Course Comments |
| The Avocet
golf course has elevated tee boxes and greens, double fairways,
grass bunkers, and even a double-tiered green. Hole #14,
a 308-yard, par 4, was voted one of "The Best 18 Holes You
Can Play" by "Golf Digest" in 1997. On this hole, the green
can be reached from the tee for most players, but mounds
and bunkers have been thrown in to snare any errant drives.
Water hazards come into play on several holes on this golf course.
"Golf Digest" rated Avocet as the 17th "Best in State" golf course
